she's from georgia (the one near the ukraine and russia, as you can see by her face structure). we met up at a coffee shop and then walked around downtown capturing her youth through my camera's pixels. i really liked the outcome of these, she will definitely be a muse for more of my projects.

since the last time i've uploaded to here, i've started my freshman year of college at the savannah college of art and design. the first week of classes was hectic and new faces; i've loved every minute of it. there are so many interesting people and places here, i can't wait to explore more.

molly and i went to this fountain in the middle of downtown and decided to take some pictures. there was an audience indeed but i love the shots so much so who cares. we make a good team.

my day with stacey svendson. we went to cherry street, the coffee house with vegan and gluten free delights, and then walked to some antique stores and drooled over pretty things. then we drove to another antique store that had vintage clothes - stacey found a white swimsuit that was to die for, and i found a polaroid camera - equally successful!

then we ran by the mall to get some photobooth pictures done and to the whole foods market for dinner, which consisted of a garden salad, pomegranate, skobi tea, and peas. we ate it at the park and a guy yelled at us when we lighted sparklers.
fun day indeed. she's a sweetheart.

i developed three rolls of film today, ranging from my holland eurotrip, to two days ago. these are the photos! i must admit, there are quite a few. but i want them all here, good ones and bad. it's a diary of mine remember.

i have a busy week ahead of me, and leave for savannah in 7 days. we're driving all the way from oklahoma, to atlanta, and then savannah the next day, the 8th. i really am so excited for change and something new. it's exhilarating thinking that i will be able to start anew.

these are some from my rolls that i took to holland and bali. i still have massive amounts to upload, and will eventually but i wanted to cement some of them on here now. i miss traveling and living out of a suitcase - even though when i'm in that moment i dislike it. the friends and love that i was in three weeks ago was so good.

the land of the gods

i am currently sitting in my hotel room and its almost eleven o'clock at night. i am in bali, indonesia vacating away for a week of the summer. i love the sound of the waves outside on my porch and the pretty faces i see walking on the sidewalk. the city is loud and there are colors every which way inviting me in to look. the beach is gorgeous and tourists scour the streets. it's not my first time here, but every single time i come again, there is always something new. something fresh, something enticing. it's a fantastic getaway spot.

i bought three rolls of film last night after eating at this amazing italian restaurant for father's day! i will use them all week and try to get them developed soon after. i will post the results here.

on a side note, i'm going to europe - holland and paris (fingers crossed) more specifically - in the beginning of july. to visit close friends and get my graduation present. traveling is more than a hobby for me, it's a part of my life. and the intricacies that are woven in and out of it make the sides of my mouth wide with smiling and excitement for a world of wonder in front of my brown eyes.
